Christ Church Grantley Adams International Airport (BGI)
Car Parking
(Bridgetown, Christ Church, Barbados)
Grantley Adams International Airport (BGI) has two large surface parking lots located immediately opposite the terminal building, either of which can be used for short-term or long-term parking. The spaces can be accessed 24 hours a day, seven days a week and they feature tight security and bright lighting.
Disabled visitors will find designated car parking spaces located near to ramps as well as wheelchairs and assistance on request or by contacting the airport in advance.
You can pay your parking fee either by cash or credit card (Visa and MasterCard). The following list details further information on airport car parking at Barbados Washington International (BGI).
Surface Lot A
Located adjacent to BGI terminal is a large surface car park that is mainly used for short-term stays, although it can also be used by those wishing to leave their car for a few days. The main entrance to the terminal is just a short walk along a walkway that features ramps as well as steps.
Surface Lot B
Positioned slightly farther away from the terminal is a second surface lot, which similarly can be used for either short-term or long-term parking, although it is more popular with those departing on lengthy trips. Ramps and walkways lead from the car park to the terminal building, which is only a few minutes walk away.
Disabled
The modernization of Grantley Adams International has included making the airport as a whole more comfortable for the disabled and the parking lots and connecting walkways are no exceptions. Each parking lot has specially designated parking spaces reserved for the mobility impaired located near to the terminal building. Walkways have ramps at all changes in elevation and airport staff can provide assistance and wheelchairs upon request.
